Univision, the leading Hispanic media company in the U.S., needed a way to drive voter registration and turnout for its 2020 “Vota Conmigo” campaign across TV and digital channels. To support this effort, Univision partnered with Kochava and used SmartLinks™ for TV to create a direct-response experience for viewers across its major networks and media properties.
Kochava helped Univision deploy custom-branded QR codes that viewers could scan from their TV screens and be dynamically linked to the Vota Conmigo portal for registration, mail-in ballot information, and voting guidance. The campaign also extended to social, owned media, and Uforia, while Kochava’s real-time analytics gave Univision channel-level performance insights and measurable CPA/CPI-style tracking for historically offline efforts, helping the company better optimize engagement.
