Major Retail Chain was seeing declining revenue at certain stores and tasked its marketing team with using the brand’s mobile app to drive repeat purchases. The retailer partnered with Kochava, leveraging Kochava’s Data Onboarding & Push Messaging capabilities (including Kochava IdentityLink™ and Kochava Engagement) to connect CRM point-of-sale data to mobile devices and target rewards members.
Kochava onboarded POS data from the retailer’s CRM, matched rewards-member IDs to devices with IdentityLink, and saved the resulting segment in Kochava Engagement to run an automated push campaign (one message 24 hours after purchase and a reminder 24 hours before the 7‑day window ended) with A/B/n testing. The campaign delivered a 14% push open rate, converted 9% of rewards members on the offer, and drove $23K in additional retail sales; the retailer then established a permanent CRM feed into Kochava for ongoing automated campaigns.
