DoubleDown, maker of popular titles like DoubleDown Casino and DoubleDown Classic Slots, faced persistent fraud risks common in the gaming vertical and needed to protect their user acquisition campaigns. To address this, they partnered with Kochava, using the Kochava Fraud Console, multi-touch attribution (influencer) reports, and support from the Kochava Data Science team to detect abnormal activity and evaluate media partners.
Kochava implemented fraud detection and attribution tools plus custom analyses, enabling DoubleDown to identify click injection and the sniping of organic installs and to apply custom lookback windows by network for more accurate attribution. As a result, Kochava’s solutions gave DoubleDown clearer visibility into fraudulent behaviors, improved attribution accuracy, and better-informed decisions about media partnerships to protect campaign performance.
