Standard Loyalty Program worked with Kobie Marketing on a new offshoot of its consumer loyalty program, using the platform for direct acquisition and product upselling in a way that had not been tried before. The challenge was to create an engaging, appealing offer that could outperform competitors’ clunky redemption processes and weak incentives.

Kobie Marketing delivered a full-service solution with segmented offers, creative campaign design, partner support, and redemption reporting. Customers were invited by letter or email to call in and hear about additional products and services in exchange for a $5 or $10 reward, with no purchase required. The program proved highly effective, generating nearly a 4% response rate and close to a 7% close rate on recent direct mail, far above the client’s usual 0.5% response rate, and a smaller campaign averaged 1% response and 15% conversion.
