A know'N'act Case Study
The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), a global nonprofit network of entrepreneurs and professionals, needed a fairer way to choose its “Startup of the Month” winners at its Seattle chapter events. Instead of relying on the imprecise measure of audience applause, TiE looked for a more accurate, real-time way to capture audience feedback using smartphones.
know’N’act implemented a real-time voting system that let attendees submit votes from their phones and allowed TiE to view results instantly. The solution improved the accuracy and immediacy of winner selection, reduced disappointment around results, and helped make the networking events more engaging and efficient for both organizers and participants.
