Case Study: HSBC trains 10,000 employees and improves banking system efficiency with Knowmore K-STUDIO

Deployment of HUB, the global web portal and entry point for the group's applications

HSBC, one of the world's largest financial institutions, faced the challenge of efficiently training 10,000 of its employees on new IT platforms and key business processes, including credit and wealth management, prior to the global roll-out of its HUB web portal. The bank needed a long-term, hands-on training solution to increase the efficiency of its customer-focused banking information system and sought the services of vendor Knowmore.

Knowmore implemented its K-STUDIO solution to create hands-on training content in the form of simulated exercises. This allowed HSBC to successfully train 10,000 employees from 70 different populations. The result was a sustained training program; Knowmore's simulations for 200 business processes are now also used to onboard new employees and provide recurrent training, ensuring long-term efficiency.
