Spectris and KnowBe4 Partner to Deliver Crowd-Pleasing, Effective Security Awareness and Compliance Training

Spectris, a global precision engineering and instrumentation company, needed to deliver varied, effective security awareness training to a diverse, worldwide workforce—especially after the shift to remote working during the pandemic. The company partnered with KnowBe4 and deployed the KnowBe4 platform (later renewing the contract and adding the Compliance Plus content library) to address changing risks and meet regulatory and organizational training requirements.

KnowBe4 implemented adaptable, localized training and simulated phishing campaigns—tailored by region and role, available in 40 languages, and run at least 10 months a year—with ethical, targeted spear‑phishing tests. The program drove measurable impact: phish reporting rose from ~20% to 40% in a year, 98% of staff completed 10 courses annually, monthly phishing tests were deployed, and courses averaged a 4.6/5 rating, while reporting to the board became clearer thanks to KnowBe4’s platform metrics.
