Location World, a Quito, Ecuador–based technology company that provides IoT telematics and SaaS/PaaS fleet-management solutions across Latin America and Spain, needed to build an information security department and embed a security-aware culture as it scaled. To meet customer expectations for data protection, Location World selected KnowBe4 and its security awareness training platform to assess and train staff across multiple countries.

KnowBe4 implemented its platform (including the Security Awareness Proficiency Assessment, simulated phishing campaigns and the Mobile Learner App) within a month, enabling targeted training and monthly compliance tracking. The program trained roughly 160 people, delivered over 1,000 hours of training, achieved more than 90% training completion rates, and raised phishing test performance from about 50% to a 99.3% pass rate—boosting client trust and organizational security maturity.
