Elica, an Italian manufacturer of kitchen appliances, faced the challenge of improving its cybersecurity posture by educating its global workforce to spot and report potential threats like phishing emails. To address this, they worked with the vendor KnowBe4 to implement its Security Awareness Training and PhishER products.

KnowBe4's solution involved monthly video training and random simulated phishing tests for employees. This cultivated a strong security culture, leading to nearly 30 suspicious emails being reported weekly via the Phish Alert Button. The PhishER platform automatically resolved nearly 1,560 emails per year, saving the IT team an estimated month of work annually and successfully identifying and removing real threats.
