Censia and KnowBe4 Tackling Security Awareness and Protecting Data

Censia, a San Francisco–based AI talent intelligence company of roughly 70 employees, needed to strengthen employee cybersecurity awareness and reporting as it prepared for industry certifications like ISO 27001 and to protect its core data assets. To meet that challenge it engaged KnowBe4 and adopted KnowBe4’s Kevin Mitnick Security Awareness Training along with simulated phishing campaigns.

KnowBe4 implemented regular training (at least twice per quarter), frequent simulated phishing tests, the Phish Alert Button and PhishER for automated analysis and response, supported by an engaged customer success manager. As a result, Censia’s Phish‑prone™ Percentage fell from 17% to 10%, employee reporting of suspicious emails increased, and PhishER’s automation reduced the need to hire additional staff while KnowBe4’s dashboards simplified reporting to management.
