Beveland Wonen - Customer Case Study

Beveland Wonen, a nonprofit social housing organization in Goes, Netherlands, faced rising cyber threats and a wide range of digital literacy among its roughly 130 staff after nearby organizations were targeted by ransomware. To strengthen its defenses, Beveland Wonen partnered with KnowBe4 and adopted KnowBe4’s security awareness training, simulated phishing platform, the Phish Alert Button (PAB), and PhishER.

KnowBe4 implemented a continuous program of frequent, localized training and biweekly simulated phishing tests, automatic onboarding training for new hires, and PAB reporting integrated with PhishER for automated triage. As a result, Beveland Wonen’s Phish-prone Percentage fell from 12% to 1%, users report about 90 suspicious emails per quarter, and PhishER automatically resolves 25% of reported messages—saving the IT team roughly three weeks of investigation time per year—while fostering a culture of ongoing security awareness.
