ABAX Takes Control of Its Security Culture With KnowBe4

ABAX, a fast‑growing Norwegian telematics company managing 270,000 account subscriptions, faced rising phishing attempts, rapid headcount growth (from 5 to 400+), high staff turnover and the need to move beyond technical controls to measure human risk. To establish a security‑culture baseline and deliver concise KPIs to its Board, ABAX engaged KnowBe4’s CLTRe security culture tool to assess employee attitudes and behaviours across the organisation.

KnowBe4 implemented short, anonymous five‑minute CLTRe surveys mapped to seven culture dimensions, grouping staff by unit and country and supporting the rollout with internal marketing; the first two surveys achieved almost 90% completion. The insights let ABAX target training where it was needed (for example, improving document classification), provide board‑friendly KPIs, track year‑on‑year changes and plan further improvements using KnowBe4’s training and simulated phishing to demonstrate measurable ROI.
