The City of Daytona Beach Transforms Its Security Culture With KnowBe4

The City of Daytona Beach, led by CIO Hossam Reziqa, faced rising email-based threats and low staff confidence in spotting phishing, forcing time-consuming, reactive incident handling. To raise security awareness and reduce human risk, the city turned to KnowBe4 and its Security Awareness Training and incident response tools.

KnowBe4 deployed its training library plus PhishER Plus, the Phish Alert Button and PhishRIP to automate detection, reporting and email recall. As a result, policy acceptance reached 100%, phishing simulations fell from a 12% Phish-prone Percentage to 2%, training completion rates rose, and email recalls became roughly 90% faster (cutting native recall times of over 30 minutes down to minutes). KnowBe4’s platform also helped shift the city’s culture toward proactive security.
