Elica Cultivates a Strong Security Posture with KnowBe4

Elica, an Italian manufacturer of kitchen hoods and appliances with a global workforce, faced the inevitability of cyberattacks and wanted to build a security-aware culture across its organization. To address this, Elica deployed KnowBe4’s Security Awareness Training and PhishER (integrated via Active Directory) to educate employees and make them active participants in spotting threats.

KnowBe4 implemented a program of monthly short video trainings, random simulated phishing tests and the Phish Alert Button feeding into PhishER, which automates triage and remediation. The program trained 1,100 employees, yields nearly 30 reported suspicious emails per week, enables PhishER to automatically resolve about 1,560 emails per year, has removed real phishing messages from all inboxes, and saves the IT team roughly a month of work annually—while increasing employee cybersecurity awareness both at work and at home.
