Umbria Confcommercio, the regional Confcommercio association in Umbria, wanted to become fully data-driven and move from a service-focused model to a more customer-oriented approach. To do this, it needed to standardize fragmented information from multiple offices and systems, speed up data collection, and better understand the needs of its 7,000 associates. KNOWAGE helped support this digital transformation through data visualization and analysis.

Umbria Confcommercio centralized its data in a new open source CRM and integrated it with KNOWAGE for interactive reporting and analysis. This gave managers a single view of company data, improved sharing across teams, and enabled faster, more reliable decision-making, including insights such as 70% of dissociations being linked to business closures and lack of generational turnover. With KNOWAGE, the organization also analyzed a high-response Covid-era satisfaction survey, repeated it periodically, and reorganized staff to monitor assigned companies with dashboard-based support.
