The City of Anzio, an Italian municipality, needed a better way to coordinate the complex school canteen service involving parents, schools, dieticians, the municipality, and the catering company. The challenge was to manage bookings, payments, meal quality, and service visibility for around 3,000 children a day within a tight five-hour window. KNOWAGE was used as the data visualization layer in the KeyRef cloud solution developed by Osmosit.

KNOWAGE helped KeyRef centralize and analyze data from mobile bookings, production systems, waste collection, and payment platforms into interactive dashboards for meals, raw materials, and health and cultural integration. The result was improved process control, greater transparency, paper elimination, faster management times, arrears recovery, and better accessibility through digital services like SPID, PAGOPA, and APP-IO. The solution also expanded to support school transport and nursery services, strengthening the city’s data-driven approach to public services.
