The George Washington University’s Division of Development and Alumni Relations needed a better way to manage internal communications across multiple campuses. Before Knosys, staff relied heavily on department-wide email, which created inbox overload and made it difficult to find timely information. The team turned to Knosys, using the GreenOrbit intranet platform, to create a central place for updates, resources, and collaboration.

Knosys implemented “DAR Connect” as a hub for news, campaign updates, case statements, online forms, and culture-building features such as staff shout-outs. This reduced email clutter, improved access to fundraising materials, and helped staff stay aligned during the university’s $1 billion Making History Campaign, which involved more than 65,000 donors. GW also reported strong service from the Knosys team and plans to expand use of enterprise social networking tools to further support collaboration.
