SBS Bank, a customer-owned bank in New Zealand, wanted to improve processes and productivity as part of its Simplification and Productivity strategy. It was struggling with scattered, unreliable, and hard-to-find internal knowledge, and staff had difficulty trusting information or completing tasks efficiently. To address this, SBS Bank turned to Knosys and its KnowledgeIQ knowledge management and intranet platform.
Knosys implemented KnowledgeIQ across the entire bank in just eight weeks, giving SBS Bank a single source of truth with smart search, content management, and governance tools to keep information current and reliable. The results were strong: before implementation, 94% of staff reported problems finding the knowledge they needed, while after rollout 75% were very or extremely satisfied and another 24% were somewhat satisfied. Knosys also helped SBS Bank build a foundation for future digital channels and more consistent customer information.
