Wave Life Sciences, a biotechnology company focused on oligonucleotide therapeutics, needed a faster, more reliable way to develop, test, and deploy data science solutions across research and development. Working in a fast-moving, high-cost biopharma environment, the team turned to KNIME Analytics Platform, along with KNIME Server and KNIME WebPortal, to help domain experts access and evaluate data without heavy coding.

KNIME implemented a flexible, end-to-end workflow environment that combined data access, transformation, visualization, predictive analytics, and browser-based guided analytics for qPCR, cheminformatics, and bioinformatics use cases. As a result, Wave Life Sciences was able to process over 200,000 observations in 24 months, detect issues earlier, reduce manual data handling, save significant time, and lower human error while empowering scientists to interact directly with their data.
