How Truata anonymized & automated credit card data to perform self-service analytics

Trūata, a company specializing in privacy-enhancing technologies for risk assessment, de-identification, and true anonymization, needed a way to anonymize and automate credit card data so financial services firms could run self-service analytics without compromising privacy. Trūata turned to KNIME and its WebPortal, seeking an open-source, extensible solution with Guided Analytics and blueprints rather than building workflows from scratch.

KNIME implemented a solution using multiple KNIME Executors and KNIME WebPortal to support the integrated analytics and privacy workflow. The result was that several hundred financial institutions could access the solution through the WebPortal, enabling scalable self-service analytics while maintaining data privacy.
