How Sparkasse improved the success of product campaigns up to 200% with KNIME

Sport England, the UK government body responsible for growing grassroots sport and physical activity, needed a faster, less manual way to report on cross-platform social media campaigns. Using KNIME Analytics Platform and KNIME Server, alongside Power BI, they wanted to replace a labour-intensive process of logging into multiple platforms, gathering and transforming data, and building reports by hand.

KNIME and trusted partner Atos implemented automated workflows to collect, clean, join, and store social media data in Azure SQL for Power BI dashboards, with scheduled runs on KNIME Server and a KNIME WebPortal for supplementary uploads. The result was a bespoke, branded reporting solution that reduced reporting frequency from monthly to daily, saved time by automating half-day manual reporting tasks, and delivered faster, more flexible insights for operational decisions.
