Seagate, a global leader in data storage and management solutions, wanted to move from descriptive to predictive analytics as part of its digital transformation. Seagate selected KNIME Analytics Platform and built a Citizen Data Scientist program to train users across the business. With KNIME, teams created demos in days instead of months, became more flexible in prototyping and data analysis, and reduced a key manufacturing feedback loop from six months to four weeks. The results included more than $1,000,000 in savings in one area, $300,000 in scrap reduction in another, and over 150 users working more independently with data.
