Utility Warehouse (UW), the U.K. multiservice utility provider that serves customers through a network of 45,000 partners, was struggling with wildly inconsistent partner-facing emails—varying fonts, styles and layouts that sometimes looked like ransom notes or phishing. UW engaged Knak to standardize and simplify email creation, with Knak building integrations for UW’s email platforms (Acoustic initially, and later Braze).
Knak delivered a single email-building environment with stable, reusable modules, previewing and approval capabilities, and direct integrations into Acoustic and Braze. As a result of Knak’s solution UW increased the number of people able to create emails 20‑fold (to 20 people), reduced email production time from weeks to mere hours, and gained the agility to send reliable customer and operational emails across systems.
