As the business grew, John’s patchwork of spreadsheets, manual proofing via email and multiple third‑party tools (QuickBooks, Stripe, etc.) became a bottleneck—making centralized order management, customer‑specific pricing, and scalable workflows nearly impossible.

John rebuilt the operation on Knack, creating a centralized customer portal and project dashboard with in‑app proofing, revision history, per‑customer pricing and integrated e‑commerce (card/PayPal). The system was live in days and immediately reduced communication time, automated alerts and payments, simplified repeat orders, cut time and cost, and delivered a much better customer experience.
