Rogue Wave Software, a provider of developer tools and components, needed a way to manage and analyze a highly distributed global network of sales partners. When a commercial partner-management solution was rejected, VP of Worldwide Partnerships Matt Brown built a custom partner relationship management app with Knack to capture the data and insights the team lacked.
The Knack app centralizes partner profiles, contacts, and a Partner Expansion Renewal Target by Account (PERTA) module, linking updates and creating dashboards for fast analysis. It delivers actionable, upstream visibility into sales cycles and expansion opportunities, became integral to KPIs, earned executive buy-in, replaced chaotic spreadsheets, and is already driving better partner enablement and strategic decisions—with plans to extend across the full partner lifecycle.
