Smartvid.io, a construction technology company that helps general contractors analyze millions of project images and media, needed a better way to handle customer requests for cloud storage integrations. As their data lived across many systems like Box, Egnyte, Procore, and Autodesk, building and maintaining one-off connectors had become too time-consuming and complex. Smartvid.io turned to Kloudless for a more intuitive integration approach using its unified APIs and Storage API.

With Kloudless, Smartvid.io embedded cloud storage connectivity, OAuth authentication, file and folder CRUD, upload/download, and change tracking to automatically sync videos and documents from supported storage services into its platform. The result was a proof of concept completed in a few weeks instead of the month or two of engineering and QA time estimated per connector, and Kloudless gave Smartvid.io a scalable way to add new sources quickly while allowing its team to focus on product innovation rather than integration maintenance.
