VEOLIA North America, a utility services company operating across all 50 states and Canada with 2,800 employees and more than $4 billion in managed assets serving nearly 7 million people, needed a centralized, cloud-based hub to manage linear and vertical assets, workforce scheduling, preventive/corrective maintenance and outage response as part of a wider digital transformation. After an extensive bid involving more than 30 vendors, VEOLIA selected KloudGin to provide a Machine Learning–based enterprise asset management (EAM) and field service platform for its Environmental Services, Utility and Advanced Solutions divisions.
KloudGin implemented its Asset and Field Service Management suites, mobile field app and Esri GIS integration on an AWS architecture, going live within 20 weeks and working with partners like Black & Veatch and Esri to compress typical deployment cycles from months to weeks. The KloudGin solution consolidated multiple legacy systems into one mobile-first platform (with offline support), delivered real-time GIS access, OLAP reporting on AWS Redshift and Quicksight dashboards, and put tablets in crews’ hands — improving data collection and analysis, enabling pandemic continuity, and rolling out to three sites with plans to expand to 40+ sites over the next three years.
