Recover Green Roofs, a design‑build firm specializing in green roofs, rooftop farms and roof decks across Boston and New England, struggled with manual project data entry in Google Documents, poor offline access and no scheduling or management tools. To solve this they implemented Klipboard’s field service/mobility platform, using its scheduling, management and workflow features to replace manual job sheets and disparate processes.

Klipboard delivered a custom job sheet and workflow tailored to Recover Green Roofs, enabling jobs to be scheduled to field technicians, completed offline on site and synced in real time for office review, approval and automatic invoicing. The change removed manual weekly data entry (previously about 45 minutes a week plus several hours formatting larger reports), improved field-team management, sped up and increased the accuracy of customer reporting, and tightened billing so Recover Green Roofs gets paid quicker.
