Topps Tiles, the UK’s leading tiling specialist, needed a unified search and discovery solution for its new headless ecommerce platform to serve both B2C shoppers and B2B trade customers across a large product catalogue. After evaluation and a recommendation from agency Tom&Co, Topps Tiles selected Klevu and implemented Klevu Smart Search to deliver fast, mobile-optimized, ML-driven search that’s easy for the ecommerce team to manage and tune.

Klevu’s Smart Search was rolled out on the retail site and then the trade site, halving manual search-related work and producing measurable gains: a 49% uplift in searches on the retail site, a 41% uplift on the trade site, and a 23% increase in revenue. Klevu also enabled content-driven results, zero-results tracking for merchandising insights, and a roadmap for future features such as banners, merchandising and recommendations.
