How Winfields increased search-led conversions by 8%

Winfields, a UK outdoor retailer with seven stores and a Magento-based e-commerce site, faced savvy shoppers copying product names to compare prices and losing sales; their previous Product Discovery solution (Smile Elastic Suite) lacked effective merchandising and required heavy manual effort. Working with Interjar, Winfields selected Klevu and adopted the full Klevu Product Discovery Suite (Search, Merchandising and Recommendations) to surface the right products at the right time and automate merchandising.

Klevu’s search, rule-based merchandising, scheduled campaigns, recommendations and personalization (including an “often bought together” banner) were rolled out alongside other Interjar features like price-match prompts and stock alerts. The combined approach drove measurable impact: a 16% increase in revenue, 14% higher AOV, 8% increase in search-led conversions, 10% longer average session duration, and a 15% conversion rate on the often-bought-together banner.
