BigCommerce, Space48 and Klevu Smart Search deliver results for Sarah Raven

Sarah Raven is an online-only gardening retailer and £40m+ business that needed to modernize its ecommerce experience to handle seasonal, perishable inventory and to surface both products and rich advice content for digitally savvy customers. As part of a re-platform to BigCommerce with agency Space48, Sarah Raven selected Klevu and implemented Klevu Smart Search (Product Discovery) to deliver more relevant, content-aware search across its catalogue.

Klevu’s solution provided a flexible search overlay and NLP-driven relevance that increased search interactions by 44.9% and drove major uplifts across the site: overall revenue +16.19%, transactions +13.43%, eCommerce conversion rate +24.80%, average order value +2.42% and per-session value +27.82% (despite sessions being down 9% seasonally). Results directly from search were even stronger: revenue from search +52.74%, search-driven transactions +57.08% and search conversion rate +8.40%, demonstrating Klevu’s clear impact on customer experience and sales.
