Sustainable Ocean Alliance (SOA), a nonprofit focused on ocean health and aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goal 14, needed to keep its 2020 accelerator program running smoothly during the pandemic. With more than 35 virtual sessions across four weeks, participants and team members spread across multiple countries and time zones, SOA was looking for a way to make remote meetings as engaging and effective as in-person collaboration. Using Klaxoon’s Board and ready-to-use templates, SOA structured weekly team meetings, reflection sessions, and webinars with visual collaboration, timers, anonymous input, and easy-to-use post-its. The result was more efficient time management, better prioritization of feedback and needs, and stronger participation across the program—helping SOA achieve 100% engagement in webinars and create more connection with entrepreneurs, mentors, and investors.
