How to make mandatory training attractive and interactive

DGAC, the French Civil Aviation Authority, needed a better way to deliver mandatory refresher training for air traffic controllers every three years. Air traffic controller and facilitator Julien Chantemargue wanted to move beyond slide-based sessions and find a more interactive, user-friendly format that could hold attention for three hours and encourage participation.

To meet this need, DGAC used Klaxoon’s Session and Workshop Platform, along with Boards, Challenges, Votes, word clouds, Questions, and Live videoconferencing. The result was more dynamic training with 100% participation, stronger engagement, easier preparation, and instant access to session reports; Julien also said the tool reduced prep time and made the training more collaborative and informative.
