VitalSkin Dermatology, a dermatology support organization with 19 affiliate locations across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri and 62 providers serving over 93,000 patients annually, needed an enterprise‑level patient communication solution to support rapid growth, expand access, and reduce phone dependency. They selected Klara to work with existing practice workflows and interface with their EHR, using Klara’s platform features such as web chat, two‑way messaging, texting and self‑scheduling.
Klara deployed its communication platform across VitalSkin’s affiliates, enabling web chat, self‑scheduling and two‑way text messaging that reduced phone tag and saved staff time. From February 2022 through May 2023 VitalSkin recorded 7.2k+ scheduled appointments in Klara, 47k+ appointments confirmed and 484k+ messages sent; the organization saw more appointments booked, fewer no‑shows and improved patient access as measurable results.
