Case Study: Origo reduces its carbon footprint with Klappir's Sustainability Platform

Origo, a leading Nordic IT service company, sought to fulfill its public commitment to sustainability by formally measuring and reducing its environmental impact. To tackle this challenge, they partnered with Klappir and began using its environmental measurement tools to track their carbon footprint and inform their ESG reporting.

Klappir implemented its data-driven platform to quantify Origo’s emissions and connect with its suppliers. As a result, Origo successfully reduced its total emissions from 570.8 tonnes of CO2 equivalent in 2020 to 443.3 tonnes in 2021. The Klappir solution also enabled the company to prepare its first ESG statement and identify areas for further improvement, such as increasing the use of green energy for its vehicle fleet.
