The Linde Group, a global leader in industrial, process and specialty gases, faced a major billing challenge: thousands of Proof of Delivery (POD) documents generated monthly had to be matched to invoices by healthcare customers and insurers, creating heavy manual workload and unreliable delivery from third‑party scanning and paper mail. Even after moving to electronic capture and PDF stitching inside SAP, Linde still needed a secure, scalable way to get very large, confidential documents into customers’ hands.

Linde integrated kiteworks with SAP and custom code to extract PODs and invoices into customer‑specific folders, sync them securely to the kiteworks cloud, and grant controlled, scheduled access. The solution boosted successful POD distribution from under 70% to over 99%, cut paper and mailing lag, shortened turnaround to about one day, accelerated revenue recognition, and has been extended to support global export documentation.
