Cartes Bancaires (CB) is France’s national interbank network—supporting roughly 46,000 ATMs, 1.2 million merchants and nearly 60 million cardholders—and experienced chaotic, insecure file sharing across email, instant messaging and multiple costly FTP sites. This fragmentation slowed servers, created confusion for internal and external users, and placed a heavy burden on IT teams, prompting the search for a secure, user-friendly solution.

After a successful three-week trial, CB deployed kiteworks by Accellion; installation and integration took about a week and required minimal training.
