The customer, DMB Associates, Inc.’s Pacific Division, a prominent western U.S. development group, faced the challenge of unveiling their ambitious Redwood City Saltworks project to the public and local residents during the entitlement process. They needed to conceptually depict the future of a 1,400-acre industrial salt production site to create a positive first impression. They retained vendor Kitchen Sink Studios for visualization services.

Kitchen Sink Studios implemented a solution using proprietary software and photography techniques to create stunning presentation materials. This included computer animation, a PowerPoint template, a project binder, and an interactive HTML5 map comparing the current site with the future vision. The work was completed on an expedited timeline for a key planning commission meeting and was subsequently featured on the project's website, successfully helping DMB Associates introduce their vision to the community.
