DAVIS brings a $50 million Austin Planetarium to life with Kitchen Sink Studios

The customer DAVIS (Davis Architects) faced the challenge of visualizing a new $50 million planetarium facility in Austin, Texas for their capital raise campaign. They hired vendor Kitchen Sink Studios to create a compelling video to help with fundraising and community awareness.

Kitchen Sink Studios developed a unique, futuristic video presentation instead of traditional computer animations. Using green screen methods, a custom interface, and audio, the solution put the viewer in the designer's shoes to experience the project dynamically. This one-of-a-kind presentation was used by the customer for their fundraising and awareness efforts for the new planetarium.
