KITABOO Powers Math Workbooks in US schools

McGraw‑Hill Education (Everyday Mathematics) needed a way to build students’ conceptual understanding, computational fluency and problem‑solving skills while moving assessments and teacher–student collaboration into a digital format. They required interactive, feature‑rich eBooks and a cross‑platform eReader that could be produced quickly; Kitaboo (KITABOO® Reader and KITABOO® Publisher) was selected to provide the interactive eBook platform and white‑label reader solution.

Kitaboo customized its KITABOO® Reader to deliver separate teacher and student apps on iOS, Android and PC/Mac, and used KITABOO® Publisher to produce the interactive workbooks. The student app includes tools (pen, text), self‑assessment with immediate animated feedback, assigned books and sync to a collaboration server; the teacher app offers grade journals, a roster to select classes/students, in‑app review, comments, sticky notes and direct markup. Kitaboo’s workflow enabled secure, rapid content conversion and delivery, turning eBooks into a practical assessment medium, enabling remote assessments and saving teachers significant time while accelerating content production for McGraw‑Hill Education.
