LLamasoft Scaling a Business Doesn't Have to Be Difficult

LLamasoft, a U.S.-based supply chain software company in the logistics industry, was growing rapidly to nearly 400 employees and struggling as informal, email-based workflows led to long trails, missed commitments and inconsistent task follow-through. To standardize processes and coordinate across teams and acquisitions, LLamasoft evaluated workflow tools and selected KISSFLOW’s workflow software to replace ad-hoc email processes.

Using KISSFLOW, LLamasoft quickly configured processes themselves, launched a purchase order trial and an engineering trial in EMEA, and built 11 apps to manage workflows. KISSFLOW delivered greater scalability, clearer task ownership and transparency through built-in reports (making it easy to spot lagging items), reduced reliance on long email chains, and set the company up to use historical activity data for improved reporting and decision-making. KISSFLOW enabled LLamasoft to coordinate work across departments more reliably as the company continued to grow.
