Hazel Dell, a growing religious organization in Indiana, struggled as staff increases created manual, paper- and email-based headaches for leave, vacation and other internal requests. Pastor Mark Wright and a single administrative assistant were overwhelmed handling requests and tracking communications, so the church looked for a digital workflow solution and adopted Kissflow to automate leave management and other internal processes.

Kissflow’s platform (implemented in 2017) let Hazel Dell build and run multiple apps—five apps to date—for requests, communications and media attachments, enabling multi-person workflows and centralized records. As a result, Kissflow reduced administrative clutter, freed Pastor Mark to focus on ministry, improved coordination across staff, and consolidated previously scattered paperwork into one digital system.
