McDermott, a global oil & gas infrastructure company pursuing wide-scale digital transformation, faced a backlog of manual workflows, fragmented applications and a very small IT support team. After unsuccessfully trying SharePoint/Nintex, McDermott evaluated BPM tools and selected kissflow’s no-code platform so business users could automate processes without IT or coding.

Using kissflow, finance and supply chain teams built and deployed workflows themselves (the first capex process went live with no training), then expanded company-wide. The platform scaled to 6,000 users with 130 business creators across 15 departments, about 500 apps, 23,000 items processed in year one and only ~30 support tickets—freeing IT from maintenance and delivering measurable time savings.
