Case Study: Peachtree Corners achieves secure smart city access with Kisi

A Kisi Case Study

Preview of the Peachtree Corners Case Study

Turning the smart city vision into reality at the city of Peachtree Corners, Georgia

Peachtree Corners, a local government operating the Curiosity Lab innovation center and City Hall, needed a better way to manage access across multiple tenants and 14+ doors. Before Kisi, visitors had to be let in manually, badges were frequently lost, and managing conference room doors and schedules was time-consuming. The city turned to Kisi’s cloud-based access control, mobile access, badge access, and visitor management tools to support its smart city goals.

With Kisi, Peachtree Corners migrated both Curiosity Lab and City Hall to remote, 24/7 access with self-service onboarding, offline reliability, and clean audit records. The city connected 47 additional doors, reused existing hardware through Kisi’s Wiegand support to keep costs down, and added features like scheduled public-meeting unlocks, mobile schedule changes, and access tracking for different user groups. As a result, Kisi helped the city reduce effort, improve resilience, and secure its facilities more efficiently.
