The Assemblage - Customer Case Study

The Assemblage is a wellness-focused coworking and co-living concept in New York City that needed a flexible, scalable access control system to match its unique spaces and rapid growth. Management struggled to find a solution that could handle everything from front‑door check‑ins to conference and meditation room bookings across multiple locations, so IT operator Nero Consulting selected Kisi as the access control service from The Assemblage’s inception.

Kisi was implemented as the primary access control across The Assemblage’s locations, integrating with Nexudus, Google Calendar and webhook-driven services to automate check‑ins, grant time‑limited room access when members book and manage different staff and tenant access levels. The result: seamless, automated access for members and bookers, simplified management of coworking and co‑living tenants, and a system that scales as the community grows (currently 200–400 daily at NoMad, 115–250 at John Street, over 1,000 members total and a third location planned), demonstrating Kisi’s ability to streamline operations and support expansion.
