Magic Memories, a child development center serving preschool, pre-K and before-/after-school care, faced recurring access problems: staff frequently forgot fobs and keys, fobs could be duplicated or shared among parents, and the center couldn’t reliably reclaim access when children left. To address this, Magic Memories implemented Kisi’s access control platform (integrated with their existing Kangarootime system) to provide a more secure, manageable entry solution.

Kisi enabled phone-based entry, simple onboarding, time- and person-specific access controls, and immediate remote revocation of parent or guardian access when needed. After two months of using Kisi, the center eliminated issues with forgotten or duplicated fobs, tightened security by limiting remote unlocking range, and gave staff and parents a more convenient, trackable way to enter — improving safety and operational efficiency.
