GoLocker, a public locker network with 18 locations, wanted to launch a fully autonomous, 24/7 unmanned location in the East Village but lacked an integrated access control solution. They chose Kisi—leveraging Kisi’s open API and geofencing—to embed secure access directly into the GoLocker app and avoid costly or unreliable third‑party integrations.

Kisi’s open API was integrated into GoLocker’s app in about 24 hours, letting users unlock the front door and individual lockers from the app (in and out in under 45 seconds) and using geofencing instead of a physical door reader. The solution enabled a seamless, secure unmanned site with camera-backed access control; the East Village location (120 compartments) had 300 sign-ups at soft open, 1,000 projected by the holidays, and capacity for roughly 8,500 packages per month.
