A Kira Talent Case Study
UTMB John Sealy School of Medicine needed a better way to run its virtual Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) process after struggling with issues on Zoom. With more than 5,000 applicants a year and the need to assess both academic ability and fit for its collaborative culture, the school looked for a more reliable platform for high-volume interviews.
Kira Talent implemented its Live Interview platform and Admin Dashboard to streamline scheduling, scoring, notes, and monitoring. The change cut more than 20 hours of work per cycle by reducing makeup interviews, helped the admissions team return results to the committee by the next morning, and enabled pre-match and early offers to go out faster than before. Kira Talent also made the transition in just two weeks and improved the experience for both faculty and applicants.
