A Kira Talent Case Study
UCLA Anderson MFE needed a more efficient, consistent way to evaluate applicants for employability and soft skills in admissions, especially as its global applicant pool made scheduling traditional interviews difficult. The program wanted to identify candidates who could think on their feet and communicate clearly, beyond just strong grades and test scores, and turned to Kira Talent’s admissions video assessment platform.
Kira Talent implemented an asynchronous, on-demand video assessment that replaced Skype and in-person interviews, eliminating scheduling headaches and allowing multiple applicants to complete assessments from anywhere. As a result, UCLA Anderson MFE saved countless hours each admissions cycle, could review more candidates with a small team, and improved scoring reliability by rewatching and sharing responses; the process also helped mitigate bias, contributing to the program’s 97% post-graduation employment rate.
