A Kira Talent Case Study
Texas A&M School of Veterinary Medicine & Biomedical Sciences needed a more efficient way to run its highly important admissions interviews while maintaining objectivity and scale. After moving away from its traditional three-day in-person MMI, the school turned to Kira Talent’s online interview platform to preserve its assessment of applicants’ soft skills without overburdening staff.
Kira Talent helped Texas A&M run an asynchronous six-station MMI with a four-hour interview window, using two independent reviewers per response to mirror the in-person process. The result was a more flexible and convenient admissions workflow that reduced reviewer fatigue, saved staff time, and enabled the school to handle about 1,250 applicants and interview around 350 with minimal additional burden while supporting its goal of growing class size.
